Dimly lit and chill ambiance. Great place for a date night with Italian wine and tapas. Gets busy during prime time. Service is friendly. No reservations.

Had some delicious red wine at this spot, and thank you to the super friendly (and patient) bartender!! I mentioned I was relatively new to wine and he was very quick to ask me some questions and make suggestions. Looks like they had nice bites, but didn't get to try them this time around! But super cute date night vibes, intimate and romantic!

Came here on a whim really to just use the bathroom while walking thru the city. It was so cute and quaint inside that we decided to stop in and grab a glass of wine. We were pleased with the selection of Italian wines. While I'm Not as familiar as I would like to be with Italian wines. The staff helped out offered suggestions. The ambiance is very dim and quaint with very little seating which is a nice change from the crowded bars nearby. This place is easy to miss but thank goodness we found it. We went back again a few weeks later and tried some of their bites. Now I wouldn't go here starving or having a full meal here but they have some bites to have that go well with the wine. We tried the sardines, octopus salad, and I had the crostini with fig and ricotta. All were very good! Definitely will be back. I adore the low key ambiance. The times we went weren't too crowded but I'm assuming they can get crowded.

Excellent wine bar with delicious Italian food options in a romantically lit Village bar. Seating is first come first served and definitely gets packed in the late nights but when we arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday there was an open table for 4. We ordered two bottles of wine and a dozen small plates. Anything with pesto is phenomenal. Their cheese selection is great! The crusty bread.and fresh ingredients really elevate the menu items. We loved the gorgonzola dip, pesto di Noci, pesce al cartoccio, cavoletti e Pecorino, lasagna Bolognese. The food is shareable and priced fairly so you can order many things. Gottino definitely prioritizes quality over quantity which we all appreciated. Their outdoor space is also well lit and a pleasant getaway in nice weather.

Lovely wine bar with a delectable selection of small plates that will keep your taste buds entertained as you enjoy the open back garden with lots of shade. The curated selection of wines offers something for those wishing to remain in their comfort zone as well as those with more adventurous palates. We enjoyed the prosciutto toast (piled incredibly high with finely chopped Parma prosciutto, pecorino cheese and garlic), fresh figs and ricotta as well as a very well prepared grilled octopus on a bed of arugula and endives. Service was relaxed, yet attentive, complementing the atmosphere of the outdoor space. The indoor area offers an inviting bar, for those seeking a temperature controlled environ. Fantastic spot for a light meal and drinks, avoiding the overpacked tourist spots further back on Greenwich.

Food 4/5 Mushroom crepe x 2 They put it in a mini oven in eye sight at the bar (i not sure if there's a kitchen in the back) and pour the oil that leaked during baking on top of the crepe when it's done to serve it Chocolate mousse x 1 Decadent and heavy. It's good but it's not mousse. It's pudding Price 3.5/5 Small crepe Mousse was bigger All 3 items were $38 before tip Ambiance 4/5 Dim lit wine bar with an L shape marble top bar and that's the number of seats you get, the length of the marble slab Music was too loud for this setting Service 3/5 Friendly but very hard to get the attention of. Asked for the check 3x It was busy but not bustling Maybe music was too loud so the server cannot hear us? Cleanliness 4/5 I didn't use the bathroom so will leave it at a 4

Talk about a secret garden! This is the non-tourist, outdoor-seating version of Buvette. A gorgeous, shady garden is tucked away in the back, where tiny tables are topped with fluffy eggs, fresh and delicious prosciutto, and incredibly rich and decadent espressos. You could spend hours here and nearly convince yourself you're not in New York (sighhhh). So civilized in the thicket of overhyped brunch spots (Bluestone!) My one request: please, please OPEN BEFORE 11AM FOR BRUNCH. I'm young but I'm also old. I wake up early and do not wanna wait almost four hours for fluffy eggs. 5 stars!!!!!!
